AGRO VIOX is a hypochlorous acid (HOCl) solution for cleaning, sanitizing and biosecurity applications in poultry production. Also known as electrolyzed water, HOCl has broad-spectrum antimicrobial use.

Poultry Farm Biosecurity
Prevention is always better and cheaper than cure. Disease can be introduced by visitors, workers, rodents, flies, trucks, materials, feed, equipment and water.
AGRO VIOX can be used to sanitize and disinfect equipment and facilities, support flock health and maintain clean water lines.
Misting, Fogging & General Sanitation
HOCl can be distributed as a mist or fog to disinfect poultry-house environments and inactivate airborne bacteria. Applications include the poultry houses before processing and sanitation during processing.
Fogging and spraying the building interior helps control microbial pathogens, remove odours, bind dust and improve the quality of breathing air. Litter and manure can be sprayed for microbial and odour control.
Drinking Water Systems & Biofilm Control
AGRO VIOX is used to disinfect drinking-water systems and maintain water-line sanitation. Applications include control of biofilm and algae in pipes, prevention of clogged drinking nozzles, and removal of lime scale and mineral deposits.

Feed Preservation
HOCl is used for food preservation without affecting the quality of the grain. It supports preservation of feed quality and vitamins, improved feed utilization and more rapid weight gain in birds.
Feed sanitation is part of our integrated poultry-farm hygiene programme, alongside water treatment, surface cleaning and environmental disinfection.
Egg Production & Egg Hygiene
Laying hens that consume drinking water disinfected with HOCl have a higher egg-per-bird average, better shell quality, decreased egg breakage and improved egg mass.
HOCl is also used for egg-surface sanitation and control of Salmonella contamination. Water sanitation and egg hygiene form part of our poultry-production applications for AGRO VIOX.
